13 Months

( I just realized I never posted this, oops!)

September flew by incredibly fast and October arrived all too soon. It has been incredible to watch you become the pretoddler you are. All of a sudden you were no longer our little baby (cheesy I know) but it happened so quick.

- You are walking every where and are starting to protest being held.

- You love to take walks outside. You like to bring your shoes to me and point towards the door.

- You love to say "dees" when you see the trees outside.

- You love animals and get pretty excited when you you see all the dogs at the park.

- You love macaroni and cheese, grapes, goldfish, and Dad's delicious pastas.

- You can sign up, down, please, and all done (in your own unique way). We are working on milk.

- You have learned how to kick a ball and are pretty good. You absolutely love it!

- You have learned to say MaMa and are starting to figure out whose title that is :-)

- You have a shapes puzzle you are becoming very good at putting it together. For some reason you have to hold the yellow, circle puzzle piece while you do the puzzle.

- We are pretty sure you have chosen a favorite color: yellow. At play group you go straight for the yellow ball or yellow bowling pin.

- When we sing the second first of "Ring Around the Rosie" you wiggle your hands like a fish with Mom.

- You are completely on table foods but don't like trying new foods. If you do decide to try it you usually like, except for meat.

- You are learning how to use a spoon by yourself. You don't get much on the spoon but you know how to get it to your mouth.

- You are learning that when we blow kisses your hand goes to your mouth. We just have to get the rest of it down.

- When we ask where your ears and mouth are you point to them. You love having us sing head, shoulders, knees and toes.

- You have learned to make the "Mmmm" sound when you eat and when we ask if your food is good you reply with that sound. It is hilarious!

- You love to help out putting clothes in the dryer and cleaning up your toys.

- You give hugs by tipping your head into us and it is pretty cute!

- You are starting to learn how to share toys and play together with others. It is sweet to see you making friendships.

We have the most amazing daughter! You are looking more grown up everyday. We keep saying how we don't know if you can get any cuter but everyday you do. You are so cute and sweet but have passion for the things you like. We have such a deep love for you and always want you to have the best. You are amazing and we hope you never forget that! We love you!
