We started our Journey but along the way there was a town called Mayberry. This town is where Andy Griffith grew up and is supposedly the town that the Andy Griffith show is based off of. There was an Andy Griffith museum where we saw Barney's salt and pepper suit, Sheriff Taylor's sheriff shirt, and even Matlock's white suit. We then saw the house Andy Griffith grew up in and walked along Main Street. Some of the stores had names based on the Andy Griffith show like Floyd's Barbershop and Opie's Candies.

We then drove the rest of the way to Chapel Hill where we stayed the night. The next day we toured the campus, but first Micah was sure to stop at the student store. There he got a North Carolina shirt, hat, keychain, and hoodie. He is now all decked out in UNC attire and he can pull of the Carolina blue color. We then saw the bell tower, the wishing well, and the Dean Smith Center. The UNC Tar heels were playing Duke that night so the Dean Smith Center was closed to the public while we were there so Micah was disappointed that he couldn't see Michael Jordan's number. We then went on the walk to the building where, if Micah attended, would spend all of his time. It was exciting to think that UNC might be a possibility for Micah. It is a little far from family but the campus is beautiful and the people we ran into were quite nice.
