Texas

We made it to Texas with out any problems. It was interesting driving into to town. It was raining all day so parts of the freeway were covered in huge puddles. It made it so traffic was really slow. We also found out that here in Texas it is not uncommon for semis to pass you when you are already going 10 over the speed limit. Traffic is also awful in Houston and we are going to try our best to avoid that when possible. The day before we pulled into town we found an apartment listed on craigslist (yes we didn't have an apartment yet). It was perfect. The apartment looks amazing, she was only needing someone from April to August, which is the exact time we would be here. We looked at the apartment and planned to sign the papers the next day. We went into the office to add our names to the lease and we were told that two more people couldn't be added to the lease. We were pretty worried and started looking at other apartments. We ended up staying at the hotel longer than originally planned but we were able to work everything out with the apartment. They let Micah sign the lease and we moved in the next day.  We were able to meet our new ward and they have been so welcoming. We have made some great friends so far and the ward has been great about getting us involved. We are starting to learn our way around town. Micah has enjoyed fishing down here, I have enjoyed swimming and loving the weather so far. We were also able to visit the Houston temple and we have some fun plans for Memorial weekend.
